Billing Terms & Conditions

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Carrowen accepts the following secure payment methods:

  • Visa

  • MasterCard

  • American Express

  • Diners Club

  • PayPal

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

All payment icons shown in our checkout and footer match the supported options above.
Installment providers such as Shop Pay Installments, Affirm, and Klarna are not currently supported.


2. Billing Currency

All orders are billed in USD, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Your bank may apply additional conversion fees, which are outside Carrowen’s control.


3. Sales Tax & Duties (U.S. Orders)

For all orders shipped within the continental United States, the price displayed at checkout represents the final landed cost.

Carrowen covers all applicable sales taxes, customs duties, and import taxes for these orders. Customers will not be required to pay any additional fees to the carrier upon delivery.

Any location-specific charges, where applicable, will be clearly disclosed at checkout before the order is confirmed.


4. When You Will Be Charged

Payments are collected at the time your order is placed.
Orders are processed only after successful payment authorization.

Carrowen does not store payment card details; all transactions are securely processed by PCI-compliant payment providers.


5. Duties & Import Fees

Continental United States:
For all orders shipped within the continental United States, Carrowen covers all customs duties and import taxes. No additional duty or import charges will be collected upon delivery.

Alaska (AK), Hawaii (HI), U.S. island territories, and APO/FPO addresses:
Orders shipped to these locations may be subject to local import fees, carrier surcharges, or government-imposed charges, which are the responsibility of the customer. Any applicable fees will be disclosed prior to order confirmation whenever possible.

6. Refunds & Billing Adjustments

All refunds follow Carrowen’s Refund & Return Policy.

6.1 Refund Fee Rules

If a refund is fully approved by Carrowen, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method and absorb the payment processing fee.
If a refund involves customer-responsible costs (e.g., return shipping or other applicable charges), those costs will be deducted from the refund.

6.2 Refund Processing Time

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after the returned item passes inspection.
Posting times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.


7. Order Verification & Fraud Prevention

Carrowen may conduct additional verification to prevent fraud and ensure a secure checkout experience, which may include:

  • Verifying billing and shipping information

  • Reviewing high-value or high-risk orders

  • Requesting supplemental documentation

Orders that cannot be verified may be delayed or canceled with a full refund.


8. Pricing Accuracy & Adjustments

Prices and promotions may change without notice and apply only within their published timeframes.

In the event of an inadvertent pricing error, Carrowen reserves the right to correct the price or cancel the affected order after notifying the customer.

If an order is canceled due to a pricing error, a full refund will be issued immediately to the original payment method.

Price updates do not apply retroactively to completed and fulfilled orders.


9. Failed or Declined Payments

If payment authorization fails:

  • The order will not be created

  • You may retry using a different payment method

  • Your bank may place a temporary authorization hold

10. Subscriptions & Recurring Charges

Carrowen does not offer subscriptions or recurring billing.
Your payment method will never be charged automatically.


11. Billing Disputes

If you find a billing discrepancy, please contact us first at:

Most issues can be resolved quickly without involving your bank.
Filing a chargeback before contacting us may result in delays, as payment providers may place the transaction under review.
