Carrowen began as an international logistics company.
Years of handling large-scale furniture deliveries gave us rare, first-hand insight into how global furniture brands operate—who manufactures for whom, which factories consistently meet standards, and where quality truly comes from.
When the opportunity arose, we formed direct partnerships with trusted manufacturers, built on knowledge rather than guesswork.

About Us
Founded in 2020, Carrowen designs and delivers elevated furniture and lighting with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and value. To ensure each piece meets our standards — from material selection to structural durability — many products are handcrafted by experienced artisans and shipped directly from our manufacturing centers. This model allows us to provide high-value, well-crafted design pieces at more accessible prices, even if it may require a longer delivery timeframe.

Our Operating Model
Our business operates under two primary models, designed to balance design integrity, quality control, and flexible sourcing.
1. In-House Products (Refined Original Designs)
Our in-house products are designed and manufactured by us and are listed directly on our website for customer selection.
These products typically feature 5–10% refinements compared to the original designs. Rather than altering the overall appearance, we focus on thoughtful upgrades that address limitations of the original versions—such as improved hardware, optimized internal structures, and enhanced construction.
The exterior design remains nearly identical, while performance, durability, and comfort are elevated.
2. Collaborative Products (Procurement & Partner-Sourced)
Collaborative products are generally not displayed on our website. These items are developed in ongoing cooperation with our partners, and as a supplying party, we do not participate directly in the retail sales process, which is handled by partner manufacturers.
For this category, we place strong emphasis on product evaluation, approval, and quality control, ensuring each item reaches our clients in complete and optimal condition.
If you have specific sourcing needs, please feel free to contact us at any time—we are fully committed to supporting you.
Most collaborative products follow a procurement-based model, and we continue to oversee quality standards, inspections, and price negotiations. Through fair and transparent discussions, we work to secure the most appropriate pricing while maintaining consistent product quality.
3. Why Our Delivery Times May Differ
Because we produce many of our products directly with long-standing manufacturing partners, lead times can be longer than typical retail standards. This “factory-to-door” model eliminates unnecessary intermediaries and reduces markup, letting us invest in better materials, craftsmanship, and construction quality — all of which contribute to furniture that lasts. We believe that a thoughtful creation process and transparent supply chain are part of making furniture that’s truly worth owning.

Why We’re Able to Do What Others Can’t
Because Carrowen was built with capabilities most suppliers simply don’t have.
1. Rooted in International Logistics
2. A Rigorous Quality Control System
Our logistics background means inspection is second nature.
We operate under a strict, multi-layer quality control process—screening materials and finished products for safety, environmental compliance, and harmful substances.
Any item that fails to meet international standards is rejected outright, ensuring every Carrowen product is safe, responsible, and reliable.
3. Strategic Access, Real Advantages
Our long-established logistics network allows us to work closely with trusted suppliers through collaborative, long-term partnerships. By aligning transportation capabilities with production planning, we help streamline operational friction across the supply chain—creating efficiencies that benefit both sides.
Through optimized logistics, sourcing, and distribution, we reduce unnecessary costs at every stage. These efficiencies translate into greater value and consistency, while maintaining the same uncompromising standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Why We Design and Build In-House
Because some responsibilities can’t be outsourced.
We built in-house because quality, durability, and value should never depend on how many layers sit between design and delivery.
1. Taking Responsibility, Not Just Ownership
Designing our own products means more than having our name on the label.
It means taking responsibility for how a piece is built, how it performs over time, and how it arrives in your home. For us, building our own supply chain was the only way to stand behind every detail with confidence—without exceptions.
2. Designed for the Real World
Most furniture is designed primarily for visual appeal or showroom presence. At Carrowen, we design and build with everyday use and long-distance transport in mind. This includes reinforced structures, better packaging, and durability tests that help ensure products arrive in excellent condition — even over long transit times.
With deep experience in large-scale furniture logistics, we’ve seen how fragile details, unsuitable materials, and under-engineered packaging can turn a well-designed piece into a disappointing arrival.
By developing products in-house, we’re able to engineer durability from the inside out—refining structures, materials, and packaging systems so each piece withstands transport, handling, and everyday use, without compromising its appearance.
3. Making Good Design Truly Worth Living With
Good design is everywhere. What’s rare is design that earns its place in everyday life.
By producing directly and eliminating unnecessary brand markups, we focus our investment where it matters most: materials, comfort, and longevity. The result is furniture that feels considered, lasting, and accessible—designed not to impress once, but to live with well.
Welcome to a World of Design
Each Carrowen piece uses thoughtfully selected materials — from solid brass accents to hand-polished finishes and premium hardwoods — chosen for longevity, beauty, and performance. Our craftsmen apply meticulous standards that go beyond surface looks to ensure structural integrity and everyday comfort.
This commitment to materials and process is why our pieces are valued as design-forward yet practical — premium in feel but grounded in real home use.
Let your eyes lead the way.
Touch. Experience. Feel.
Slow down, settle in,
and enjoy design as it becomes part of everyday living.
The Heart of Carrowen
Founded in 2020, Carrowen is headquartered in Nanning, China, a city with a long history as a regional trade and cultural center. Respecting the site’s architectural heritage, we carefully restored and reimagined the space, allowing its original character to coexist with a contemporary design sensibility.
Our headquarters serves as a creative and operational hub where we develop new designs, explore materials, and refine concepts before introducing them to the U.S. market. This environment allows our team to test ideas thoughtfully and ensure each product meets our standards for quality, proportion, and durability.
At this time, Carrowen does not operate a public showroom. Instead, we support our customers through virtual consultations, detailed product information, and personalized online assistance, helping you make confident and informed decisions wherever you are.
